What do I have to offer the people of this community? Healing…
My journey to becoming a Certified Rolfer
began when I took a voluntary lay-off from my position as a Wastewater Systems Administrative Assistant for the City of Aberdeen. My position was about serving the department and the public but I felt a calling  to service people in a new way.
How did Rolfing Structural Integration help me?
Rolfing Structural Integration realigned my structure by releasing the fascia strains and patterns my body had accumulated along life’s path.
The experience was so profound that I left my job and headed to Boulder Colorado to become a Rolfer and help others regain their active lifestyle as I had.
I attended the Rolf Institute in Boulder Colorado where I became a Certified Rolfer of Structural Integration in 2005. I discovered that the initial training was just the beginning. It opened the door to unlimited resources and sent me on a path to expanding my knowledge with training’s in Cranial Sacral Therapy,Visceral Manipulation and a year and a half long apprenticeship with a Certified Rolfer/Canadian Osteopath/Barry Method Instructor.
I use all of these tools to resolve pain and discomfort. The causes are varied and as different as each individualâ€car accidents, surgeries, sports injuries, falls, chronic pain, child birth traumas, etc. It’s very encouraging to receive feedback from clients that were facing surgical procedures for conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome stating that their symptoms were gone and they no longer need surgery’â€this is why I love doing this work!
